Kony Chatterjee was awarded the 2020 Equity for Women Award at the 35th annual Sisterhood Dinner organized by the Council on the Status of Women at North Carolina State University. The Equity for Women Awards recognize faculty, staff and students for their outstanding leadership in establishing equity for women at NC State. Nominations are solicited from all members of the campus community, including faculty, staff, students, alumni and partners. Nominees must demonstrate excellence in one or more of the areas of leadership, service and scholarship. Kony was nominated by Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli.
